Meghan Young Duplantis

Meghan Young Duplantis is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana. While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Meghan Young Duplantis had the honor of participating in an internship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Louisiana under United States Attorney, Donald Washington. In 2006, Meghan graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science Pre-Law from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Thereafter, Meghan moved to New Orleans to pursue her dream of becoming an Attorney, where she attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate Degree in Civil Law and a certificate in Common-Law in 2010. Early in her career, Meghan was given the opportunity to experience the practice of several types of law, including: domestic law, personal injury, worker’s compensation, estate planning, business law, general civil litigation and real estate. After exploring her options, Meghan’s heart lead her to the practice of real estate law, which she has enjoyed exclusively for several years. Meghan is an active member of the Louisiana Bar Association, an Affiliate member of The Realtor Association of Acadiana and an Affiliate member of The Acadiana Mortgage Lenders Association. Meghan is a licensed Title Insurance provider and is licensed to practice law is all Louisiana State courts. Meghan joined forces with Margo Huval Dugas to form MD Title, LLC in January of 2019. Outside of Meghan’s legal career as a Real Estate Attorney at MD Title, LLC, she and her husband, Chase, spend their days chasing after two little boys, Asher and Everett.
